Rodriguez Named RMAC/Rawlings Player of the Week
NMHU’s
Phillip Rodriguez has been named the RMAC/Rawlings Player of the Week for the second time this season. Rodriguez had an excellent weekend for the Cowboys in their double header against RMAC rival CSU-Pueblo as he finished the weekend with a .500 batting average. Rodriguez is having a great season thus far for the Cowboys as he is one of the top performers on the team as well as in the RMAC.
Rodriguez is second overall in the RMAC in batting average with a season batting average of .556.
Rodriguez is also second in the RMAC in slugging percentage with a slugging percentage of .963 as well as in home runs with three on the season. Rodriguez has 15 hits, two doubles, three homeruns and 13 RBI’s on the season.
