Cowboys Ranked #1 in NCAA Central Region
The NMHU Cowboy Baseball program has achieved many things in the 2010 season. They have climbed the national polls in each week of the season and have broken many NMHU records along the way. Head Coach Steve Jones has made NMHU History by becoming the winningest coach in NMHU history with his 400th win of his career, but all of that has been on the road to the Cowboys main goal this season… to be #1 in the NCAA Central Region. In the latest NCAA Regional Rankings, the Cowboys are #1 in the NCAA Central Region with their stellar 29-6 overall record and their outstanding 19-3 RMAC record.
The Cowboys have been making a splash in the national polls since the first week of the season. The Cowboys are currently ranked #8 in the
National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association DII Top 25 poll, #10 in the
Collegiate Baseball Newspaper DII Top 30 poll and #12 in the
PING!!! Baseball DII Top 30 poll.
