The Cowgirls took the early lead, allowed the Saints to catch up and then didn&rsquo;t look back from there. He said, &ldquo; We look forward to expanding our roster with everyone on board to take on the RMAC. Every athlete will be contributing and these new additions are going to be part of that.&rdquo; 
Taylor Gonzales is coming to NMHU as a transfer from Chandler Gilbert Community College. Gonzales started every game for CGCC this past year as her team went 13-5-2 as the team was ranked as high as 13th in the nation for much of the season. The Cowgirls played host to the University of Nebraska Kearney Lopers on 11/1 at Perkins Stadium. The Cowgirls destroyed the Lopers 8-0 in their last game of the 2009 season. A number of Cowgirls scored their first goals of the season in the match up against the Lopers. The Cowgirls would eventually fall to UCCS 3-0. The Cowgirls then played host to #6 Metro State College on 10/18. After a hard fought match for first part of the first period, the Cowgirls would eventually fall to the Grizzlies by a final score of 3-0. The Cowgirls are now 2-13-0 overall and 2-8-0 in RMAC play. The Cowgirls would eventually lose to the Mountain Lions 1-0 after a hard fought match.
